You feel Unranked matches are a bit too easy? No worries, try out our ranked matches! When queing ranked matches you will be pitted against better players according to your level, making for some serious competition! Playing ranked matches is the same as playing unranked, but you will play for Elo!
Elo is a point based system the server employs to rank players. In short, the more you will win matches, the higher your Elo will be. You begin with 1000 Elo points by default, and over time you will gain or lose points depending on whether you win or lose ranked matches respectivelly. Be careful though, as Elo points are not earned in a linear fashion. The higher your Elo score is in a gamemode, the less Elo you will gain each time you win, and the more Elo you will lose when you are defeated! Each kit also has its own seperate Elo rating, so whenever you win a ranked match on a specific kit, your Elo for that kit will be increased, as well as your global Elo. Your global Elo is the average of all your kit's Elos, so to have a high global Elo you will need to master each kit on the server!
Have you ever seen that, next to players’ names, there is a Roman numeral? That numeral represents the player's division. Depending on your amount of Elo points, you will be ranked into divisions which are as follows:
You have to start off somewhere right!
This division means that you are beginning to be a pretty good player, keep it up!
This division means that you are close to becoming one of the top players, keep it up!
This division means that you try-harded ranked matches for quite some time, congratulations!
There might be another division available once you reach 9999 Elo points. But, there's only one way to find out! Reach 10,000 Elo and you might find a top-secret piece of information!
If you want to have a look at all of the available Elo ranks, you are able to use the command /ranks
