Needless to say, everyone enjoys having their own space in which they are able to build freely without the interruption of anyone else, or with the feeling that other players will steal your precious resources. This is why claiming land plays a key role in your journey within survival, and it is a highly important aspect that you need to get used to. Below we will share some tips and extra information regarding the usage of player claims.
You are able to expand your claim to be as big as you want it to be! Although, in order to do this, you must make sure that you have enough claim blocks. The claim blocks are those that determine your overall power and claim capacity. Having 300 claim blocks means that you are able to claim an area with a total of 300 blocks in the inside.
In order to obtain claim blocks you must open some crates. You may obtain some keys to these crates
by voting for the server through the /vote command.
You may claim land by right clicking the ground with a golden shovel, and right clicking another spot to select the other claim's corner.
Having your own claim is surely a burst of freedom. Although, you must be really careful on who to trust and grant permission to build, destroy, and open chests within your claim. Those who you give these permissions will be able to help you throughout your journey by being a part of your claims, but we encourage you to always be careful in-case it doesn't go this way.
You may type the command /trust while being inside your claim to grant a player the permissions of
placing, destroying, and opening chests within your claim.
It is always encoruaged to make sure no claims are nearby, this way you prevent your claims from being erased due to claiming areas near other player's claims. In order to check for claims nearby, you may right click the ground with a wooden stick. If the spot you right clicked is part of a claim, you will be able to see golden blocks surrounding the area.
NOTE: Any golden shovel or wooden sticks work. You don't have to worry about losing a specific one!
